| Szinopszis: Five ecosystems - Alps’ Mountains, the Karst’s underground caves, the Adriatic’s Sea coast, the Dinaric forests and the Pannonian plains host a record number of fauna and flora species. The documentary WILD SLOVENIA visually presents the very diverse fauna and flora of Slovenia, focusing on mammals and birds, and shows some particularly interesting species of amphibians, fish, insects and plants. |
| Rendező biográfia: BIOGRAPHY OF MATEJ VRANIČ – DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER Matej Vranič (1974) is Slovenian professional photographer and filmmaker. He started as Freelance photographer. He won the competition Best photography of Slovenia and earned few other awards. He received a title Slovenian Nature Photographer of the Year 2017. He published his photographs with nature motives in numerous calendars, postcards, books and magazines. His images were exhibited in many local outdoor galleries and exhibitions organized by National Geographic Slovenia. He prepared many photo stories with wildlife thematic for the National Geographic Slovenia magazine. He produced and directed many music and commercial videos. Thirty years of his private interest in the animal world evolved into professional work in the fields of wildlife photography and later filming. His new wildlife documentary Wild Slovenia will soon released for cinemas and worldwide TV broadcasters. Previous film Birds of the Lakes Return was awarded at many film festivals. He believes that with hard work and passion comes the success FOTOKOM – PRODUCTION COMPANY Fotokom production was founded in 2006. It is privately owned by Matej Vranič and based in Velenje, Slovenia. It is a provider of professional photo and video production services. It is specialized in creating and producing commercial and nature films. Professional cooperation with partners and team members lead to deliver high value production services: directing, cam operating, assistance, sound production, color corrections, total post-production services. During past years, production services were provided to successful Slovenian companies, agencies and music groups. Our strengths are flexibility, creativity and perfectionism. The combined experiences of wildlife photo production and video creation lead to interest of wildlife documentary films production. |
