English synopsis:
The changes in the natural image of our country's waters is best reflected by looking at the thousand year history of the beluga sturgeon. This gigantic fish used to be one of the most important catches of Danube and Tisza, this way becoming a part of the whole of Hun garys history. Following its roads back in the day we get an objective picture of the century-wide changes, faunas and fishing methods of our rivers from the Great Conquest to our present days.
