English synopsis:
The film follows István Fekete’s course of life, focusing on his life-changing moments, filled with historical turning points. It examines how his family life and political relations, success and failure, friendship and loss, understanding and being misunderstood affected his writing career and relationship with nature. It is also about how his special observation skills and respect for nature helped him in hunting, literature, changes in politics and the world, and his personal relationships.

English biography:
Lívia Bertha has been making educational films and documentaries for 20 years. She co-directed the documentary series Free in Transylvania in 2007, made a biopic about Sir David Attenborough in 2012, and has been the Managing Editor and Writer for over 300 episodes of the series BIG ONES since 2015. She wrote and directed the historical documentary The Last Grande Dame of Transylvania, and was the Writer and Creative Producer for the 8-part literary travel series about János Arany.
