English synopsis:
The Plastic Mountains is a documentary focusing on the first ever study on the topic of glaciers plastic pollution. The film describes the professional journey of a research team of the University of Milan: a journey through nights spent outdoors, field research and laboratory analysis. Starting with the scientific evidence, the documentary will investigate the complex connection between our behaviours and this remote ecosystem that we have always considered uncontaminated.

English biography:
Manuel Camia born and raised in Calderara, a little town near Milan. He studied in “Luchino Visconti” Academy. He always had a great interest in entertaiment and comunication and now he works as director and producer. What he likes about his profession is the fact that he can meet people with interesting stories, discover new places and dedicate himself to projects he cares about. His values are based on environmental respect and social engagement and this morals are reflected in his works.
