| English synopsis: | The short film pictures the capercaillies' spring lekking. At the beginning only the males show up at the lekking place and they try to lure the hens there with their mating dance. Later in the days the females also visit the lekking places. On these occasions it is not rare that the males fight each other to chase their rivals away and to gather a more sizeable harem. If the hens like the show produced by the males the mating takes place. |
| English biography: | Ever since my childhood nature is a vital part of my life and my hobbies do link to it also. Since 2017 I got interested more intensively in wildlife photography and parallel to this motion picture also. I am trying to improve my skills on thiese fields to these days. |
