Gábor Reviczky gets to know this part of the river Sebes-Körös by fishing near Körösszakál and talking
to the president of the local fishing clubs. Then a fish researcher introduces him to a species, unique
to the area, the Biharian Barbel. Gábor also drops by the nature reserve at the Bird Watching Centre.
After visiting the birthplace of folk writer Pál Szabó, he is given a short presentation of the village by
the mayor. Last but not least Gábor tastes the famous fish soup a la Biharugra. |

English biography: |
I’ve been working in television for 10 years, directing my own films for 5 years. Nature has been close
to me all my life, I went to an ornithology training at a very young age and to a lot of nature camps. I still regularly go out to nature reserves to hike and film. It’s always been my aim to bring nature closer to the viewers in its original atmosphere. I have been producing films for the F&H channel for a while now, which has given me a lot of experience in water and fish-related subject. |
