English synopsis: |
In the past centuries, the waters of Hungary have changed drastically. In the place of rich swamplands are resorvoirs and fishing lakes, and the once largest floodplain of Central Europe is know almost completely dry and is called the Great Hungarian Plains. Today, 75% of our lakes are man-made, and 90% of our floodplains are gone. Life had to adapt to this changing world, or else, they faced extinction. |

English biography: |
I'm originally a cameraman, but during my university years, I mostly practised the cinematography of fiction films. I started my first wildlife documentary as a diploma film in 2017, and I finished the project in 2019. This film was titled "Where Rivers Run Wild: Aqua Hungarica", and in the summer of 2021 it was screened in cinemas all around Hungary. Since I finished with this film, I'm working on two other projects about Hungary's wild waters. |
